Although currently working together in the digital technology industry, Scott and Phil have paired their individual passions outside the office for a combo everyone is sure to love - nachos and beer. Scott's single-layer nachos are made to order and served up fast with your choice of toppings and desired heat level from homemade sauces. Phil's German-purist-influenced beer pairings are guaranteed to quench your thirst and cool your tongue.
An avid home cook, Scott has worked at all levels in a variety of independent restaurants in Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Florida. He credits each establishment with inspiring him to become his own restaurateur. Phil has been brewing beer at home for over a decade, heavily inspired by his upbringing in Germany and its proud beer culture. For the Taste Test Audition, Phil will present beers he feels best represent the styles of beers he plans to brew if Nacho Cabra becomes a reality.
Join us April 27-30 and May 4-6 to help us decide if this concept should be #yorksnextbite. If this is a success, Nacho Cabra could be one of a few concepts to pop up for 3 months next door at the Taste Test Bar & Restaurant and potentially end up in a permanent storefront in downtown York.
