Afghan cuisine encompasses a broad variety of culinary eats but is most notable for its savory kabobs. Maiwand’s menu is no different- from succulent kabobs to mouth-watering rice pudding, Maiwand strives for freshness and authenticity. Marinated daily, cooked to order, and made from scratch.
MK opened as a small family owned eatery in in Columbia, MD in 1999. They have slowly expanded over the past 13 years gaining recognition from the Baltimore Sun and the Washington Post as the best “cheap eat” in Howard County, MD. Now Maiwand Kabob is here to test the York market and see if a kabob restaurant would be a good fit.
